We made Christmas brighter for the sick children at the Debrecen Children’s Clinic with several boxes of toys, books, and sweets.
The donations were enthusiastically collected by the employees of our partner companies within the Szinorg group, helping to ease the daily struggles of the children in the clinic and bringing smiles to their faces.
The Clinical Center’s Department of Child Rehabilitation, Child Psychology, and Psychosomatics has 32 hospital beds, and unfortunately, as soon as one child is discharged after treatment, another takes their place.
Prof. Dr. Beáta Erika Nagy, head of the Department of Child Rehabilitation, Child Psychology, and Psychosomatics, received the many boxes of surprises—plush toys, storybooks, drawing tools, and treats—with great joy during the donation handover on Wednesday.
“We initiate the rehabilitation and general development of many children here, both physically and mentally. They stay for three weeks, so many children spend Christmas at our clinic. This donation, therefore, is heartwarming, and we thank the donors very much.”

Our company places great importance on social responsibility. A good example is HUNÉP’s summer charity football construction cup, which we organized for the second time, and traditionally donated the proceeds to the Children’s Clinic.
Miklós Bakos, CEO of HUNÉP Zrt., speaking on behalf of all donating colleagues at the handover, said that the company has been a committed supporter of the Pediatric Clinic of the Clinical Center at the University of Debrecen for years.
“We regularly look for opportunities and organize collections with great pleasure to help the young patients of the clinic. In this department, where our Christmas donation has now been placed, state-cared children are also treated. So, it is a special joy to bring some happiness to children who, unfortunately, receive less of it in their lives.”
The goal is twofold, as our group of companies, in addition to charity, aims to increase the social support and recognition of companies and workers in the construction industry
