The its Hunép charity football cup was a great success

One of the main goals of the cup was to support sick children alongside team building and promoting a healthy lifestyle.

On June 25, 2022, we held our company’s 1st Charity Football Cup. The event saw participation from 10 partner companies with teams and enthusiastic supporters, bringing together nearly 150 people for the competition.

In addition to the HUNÉP team, popular small-field teams such as Betonacél Szerelő Kft., Fekete Vill 94 Kft., Frissbeton Kft., Globál-Sport Kft., IAS Automatika Kft., MAPEI Kft., MNK Hungary Zrt., Monolit-Épszer Kft., OTIS Felvonó Kft., and Vagyonvill Debrecen Vagyonvédelmi Kft. also participated in the Cup.

The Football Cup served multiple purposes: besides promoting a healthy lifestyle and the unifying power of competition, the registration fees collected were donated to charity. This initiative resulted in a donation of 1 million forints to support the operations of the Pediatric Clinic at the Clinical Center of the University of Debrecen, contributing to the modern and comfortable recovery of sick children.

Another objective was to increase the support for companies and their employees in the construction industry, simultaneously enhancing the industry’s recognition.

At the opening of the event, CEO Miklós Bakos stated that the tournament was organized with the intention of creating a tradition.

-“On one hand, with this football tournament, we can contribute to making the treatment of the little patients at the clinic as effective and comfortable as possible. On the other hand, team sports provide a unifying force in our daily lives, giving us energy and rejuvenation for the days and weeks ahead.”

“With this initiative, we aim to start a series that will support similar goals year after year,” – said Miklós Bakos.
